The AHGstore

The AHGstore is your go-to place for uniforms, patches, badges, spirit wear, and so much more! The AHGstore is filled with items for girls and adults to showcase their AHG spirit through t-shirts, hats, other wearables, and gift items. Each item purchased on the AHGstore supports the AHG Mission of building women of integrity. The AHGstore is open to everyone, including registered and non-registered adults, girls, grandparents, friends, and family!

Although the AHGstore is open to the public, there are certain restricted items on the AHGstore. The Troop Board, Troop Advancement Chair, Registrar, AHGstore Troop Purchaser, and Trailblazer Mentors have access to purchase restricted items on the AHGstore such as badges and Level Awards. For access to these items, you will need to login to the AHGstore. If you are having trouble logging in, please email [email protected].

The Troop’s tax-exempt status is derived from the Charter Organization. If the Charter Organization is tax-exempt and is willing to allow the Troop to use their tax-exempt documentation, the Troop can set up a tax-exempt account with the AHGstore. Please follow the steps below to set up the Troops tax-exempt account with the AHGstore.

Email a copy of your Charter Organization's 501(c)3 IRS Tax Exemption Form to [email protected].

Kerusso will receive the document, verify its eligibility for state sales, and use tax exemption (if that document doesn’t suffice, Kerusso will reach out to provide further info on what documentation your state requires), and if eligible, set your Troop up as tax-exempt in the AHGstore system.

Once setup is complete, a member of the Kerusso Team will reply to your email to inform you that your Troop's tax-exempt status has been approved.

*Please note, the tax-exempt status will be associated with the email address used to submit the documentation; this same email address must be used when placing Troop orders to ensure your tax exemption can be honored.

Health and Safety

AHG desires that every girl experiences a safe and healthy environment. As part of the Troop’s planning of any activity or event, AHG Health and Safety Policies and Guidelines should be reviewed. All Health and Safety Policies and Guidelines are designed with the purpose of keeping girls, volunteers, and Charter Organizations safe. In order for registered Girl and Adult Members and the Charter Organization to benefit from AHG’s Liability Insurance Coverage, all Health and Safety Policies must be followed. Implementing Health and Safety Policies and Guidelines can sometimes pose a challenge for the Troop. To brainstorm ideas of how to properly implement Health and Safety Policies and Guidelines, discuss with your Charter Organization and Hometown Mentor or Troop Coach.

Necessary Forms and Documents

An essential part of Troop administration is keeping accurate records for the Troop. Accurate record-keeping helps maintain high standards, ensures checks and balances, manages risk, and is important for tracking girl advancement. Some documents will be maintained at the Troop level, and others will be shared digitally with AHG Inc. The Troop Board should discuss how forms and documents will be stored and managed. Some Troops may select a Registrar to manage the completion of all necessary forms.

All forms and documents should be kept confidential and stored securely at the Charter Organization. It is important that the Troop keep forms and financial information such as permission slips, health and medical history forms, high adventure forms, attendance logs, bank statements, and receipts for at least four years.

The Jump

American Heritage Girls partnered with social media platform The Jump to create a place for AHG Adult Members to connect and build authentic community. As a Troop Board member, this is the best place to connect with other Troop Board members across the country and share ideas, collaborate with others, and share prayer requests. Groups that are available to you include:

  • Troop Board Members
  • Groups based on Troop Board and Unit Leader positions
  • Troop-specific Groups
  • State Groups
  • AHG Community Group (All adults that have joined a Troop-specific Jump)
  • Area Team Groups

“As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”

1 Peter 2:4-5, NIV
